Bespoke Shaped Headboard and Coordinated Bedroom Soft Furnishings

This project is a lovely example of how bespoke upholstery and soft furnishings can bring a bedroom scheme together with warmth, detail and personality.

Creature Comforts Upholstery created a bespoke shaped headboard upholstered in a soft floral fabric, giving the bed a distinctive and elegant focal point. The scalloped profile adds a decorative, boutique-style finish, while the muted floral pattern keeps the overall look calm, classic and inviting.

The headboard has been finished with contrasting piping, helping to define the curved shape and add a smart tailored edge. Coordinating cushions were also created to complement the headboard, using a mix of floral and soft patterned fabrics to build texture and interest without making the room feel too busy.

The finished scheme has a relaxed country-house feel, with a gentle palette of greens, creams, soft pinks and natural tones. It feels considered, comfortable and full of charm, perfect for creating a restful bedroom with a bespoke finish.

The style has a boutique country interior feel, with touches that are reminiscent of a Kit Kemp-inspired shaped headboard, particularly through the use of layered pattern, scalloped lines and carefully coordinated fabrics.
